RUTH M. TUCKER, MHA, RN, FAAHC - President
Ruth Tucker is the President and CEO of Consulting Resources, an executive search firm whose practice is limited to Nursing Administration. It is the only niche firm of its kind in the country. Since 1980, Ruth has been among the top executive search consultants in the United States.
Ruth brings her entrepreneurial spirit and experience base in both clinical and leadership roles to her work as a search consultant. During her career, she has been an active member of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE), the American Organization of Nurse Executives (AONE), the Michigan Organization of Nurse Executives and the American Association of Healthcare Consultants (AAHC). She is the past chairman of the Board of AAHC, the first woman and first nurse to serve in this capacity in the organization's 62-year history.
In addition, her firm conducted a longitudinal research study, looking at the elements of Nurse Executive Turnover, which has been used as a national benchmark by many healthcare systems in the US. She also authored a monthly column in the Journal of Nursing Administration entitled Managing Your Career. She has contributed to several publications and books on such topics as Healthcare Consulting, Entrepreneurialism in Nursing, and basic elements of job searching, including participation in the resume critiquing services for ACHE and AONE. Ruth has been a guest lecturer in a number of graduate programs in nursing administration throughout the country.
She is a graduate of George Washington University, with a Masters in Healthcare Administration. Her undergraduate degree in Nursing is from the University of Vermont.

MARY LOUISE BRANEY, MSN, RN - Consultant
Mary Louise Braney has spent the majority of her career in various Nursing Administrative positions. Most recently, she was the Director of Children's, Women's and Behavioral Health at the University of Michigan Hospitals and Health Centers. Prior to that role, she was the Vice President for Patient Care at Connecticut Children's Medical Center and Vice President for Nursing at the Children's Hospital and Health Centers - San Diego (now Rady Children's) in San Diego, CA. She was Director of Program Development at Boston Childrens Hospital and served as a faculty member in the school of nursing. She has also provided consultation in various aspects of professional development for nursing leaders.
Mary Louise brings her national reputation and knowledge of nursing systems and operations, leading an organization in a unionized environment, development of nursing leaders of the future, and her national contacts in the field of nursing administration to her role as a search consultant.
She has a Masters degree from Boston University in Community Health Nursing. Her BSN is also from Boston College. She is a Diploma graduate of the Children Hospitals School of Nursing in Boston.
